Course Overview
This course is aimed at delegates who are preparing to sit for the latest Project Management Professional (PMP®) examination. This course is designed to give delegates clarity on all areas of Project Management as laid out in PMI®’s PMP® Exam Outline (ECO), the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK®) and other reference materials.
The exam is based on 3 areas namely People, Processes and Business Environment.
Some of the things to know about the exam are:
- The exam will be 180 questions
- The exam duration will be 230 minutes
- The questions will not only be multiple choice but other question formats such as fill in the blanks or multiple answers will be part of the exam also
- 42% of the questions will be on People, 50% on Processes and 8% on the Business Environment
- 50% of the questions will be based on Agile or Hybrid Project Management Practices
Our 5-day exam preparation class will give a clear overview of all knowledge and skills you need to successfully pass the PMP® exam. The course is partly based on lectures and partly based on exercises and mock exam questions.
Target Audience
This course is tailored especially for those who want to get a worldwide recognized Project Management certification (PMP)® from PMI®.
Pre-Requisites
High School Diploma/Global Equivalent
Minimum 60 months/5 years experience leading and managing projects within the past eight years
35 hours of project management education/training.
OR
Bachelor’s Degree/Global Equivalent
Minimum 36 months/3 years experience leading and managing projects within the past eight years
35 hours of project management education/training.
OR
Bachelor’s Degree/Global Equivalent from a GAC Accredited program
Minimum 24 months/2 years experience leading and managing projects within the past eight years
35 hours of project management education/training.
